Thank You to All Who Volunteered at the Emergency Feeding Program

On March 21st, our team of 15 volunteers put together 60 food packs (enough to provide 1,900 meals)at the Emergency Feeding Program warehouse in Renton. 1 in 5 WA state households do not have enough money to feed their families. EFP’s mission is that no one goes hungry. The EFP supplies about 2,000 packs of food per month to over 180 agencies throughout Seattle and King County. These packs are designed to provide emergency food assistance for anyone who needs it; no one is turned away. They have 15 different food packs to meet a wide range of dietary needs. EFP has been in operation since 1977. To learn more, please visit: www.emergencyfeeding.org.
